Hardware Features:

1. SiRF Star III GPS Module is built in.
2. Simcom Sim300 Triple-Bands GSM/GPRS Module is built in.
3. Four Photo-Couple isolated digital inputs and three open collector outputs.
4. A RS232 compatible serial interface.
5. A P/S2 serial interface for connecting to a Bar-Code scanner.
6. An 8-key control panel with 4 status LEDs for GSM, GPS, GPRS and SOS
indication.
7. An USB comport for setting parameters, debugging, and GPS information output.
8. Two mega bytes flash memory is built in for data logging.
9. A 950mAH backup battery with charging circuit.

Software Features:
1. Tracking: The unit sends current position information to server periodically when ACC is turned on and GPRS is enabled. The reporting time interval is programmable from 5 seconds to 9999 seconds.
2. Positioning: Control Center can query the current position anytime.
3. Alarming: Three SMS messages are sent to designated mobile phone when
panic button is pressed. An alert data package is sent to the server at the same
time.
4. Logging: Two mega bytes flash memory is built in for logging the position
information and events (such as ACC on and off, input1 as well as input2 activities,
and SOS, and Bar-Code data etc.). 32,000 records can be saved into flash memory.
The logging time interval is the same as reporting time interval.
5. Setting parameters: An USB comport is able to set parameter of the unit. On The
Air(OTA) configuration via GPRS is also possible.
6. Auto re-sending: The failed transmission records in which poor communication
area can be re-sent once the GPRS is reconnected.
7. Manual re-sending: The unit is able to re-send period records by manually
assigning starting and ending date time.
8. Power losing Alerting: Once the main power is cut, an alert message package is
sent to the server. Another alert message is sent to the server while low voltage of
backup battery occurs.
9. Back up server can be connected: The unit switches to back up server
automatically when main server is out of service.
10. On The Air Programming(OTAP): An great function of updating software On
The Air capability is built in the unit, therefore no need to send unit back to dealer
or manufacture when software in the unit is required to be updated or upgraded.
